« Snake Of Eden » Swedish new metal sensation.
Hi here’s Callypyge from Bizarre Music on line Magazine, I’m doing an
interview of « Snake Of Eden » Swedish new metal sensation. Famous
from LA to Stockholm, these sexy sinset triplets as they are often nicknames, they are not known in this part of the old
Europe. Let’s Let us readorn this injustice. Come with me to learn a
bit more about who they are and what they like to do.
Hi guys, Sweden is well known for ABBA, Ace of BASE, Europe, The Cardigans, A Camp, H & M and IKEA. Now here you come.
1. Can you introduce yourselves? Who is who in the band? Kelii is the wild frontman, doing everything to entertain the audience while Izzy's pumpin the bass to Oskars loud, crazy drums. My name is Rock and I'm the mad professor behind the keys
2. Being triplets must be quite an experience, how do you describe your relationship?
we are as close as we can be...same taste in food, girls and music. 3 bodies but 1 mind.
3. Oskar is it difficult to be with the triplets?
No
not at all, most of then time it feels like all of us are real
brothers. But like all brothers sometimes we fight over stuff only to
share a laugh together five minutes later
4. How do you define your music? Classic
rock n roll mixed with blues and 70' glam, our infuenses is everything
from Elvis and Chuck Berry to David Bowie and T-rex. We want to
change the way people listen to music nowadays. The mordern rock scene
is dying more and more and rock n roll is turning in to dead
overcompressed bullshit which sounds more like radio pop. We want to keep our music rough and rockin.
5. Does it come from your original upbringing? Well
we started listening to bands like the Sex Pistols and the Clash. Later
we discover Guns n Roses, Aerosmith and Hanoi Rocks. But we listen to a
lot of different music to get inspiration. Oskar listens to a lot of
world music to get inspiration for new rhythms on the drums.
6. You guys, have quite a style! I could say it’s a melting pot style. Do you have a stylist? No we dont have a stylist, we make allot of our clothes ourselves. As an artist you must show who you are and make a statement. You cant just where jeans and a T-shirt, if thats not who you are.
7. What was your best gig ever? Some
of our best gigs have been at the smallest clubs, allot of energy on a
small stage is better than a big stage where you lose the contact with
the audience. We played in a club in Tacoma, WA, shaped like a tea pot.
The dirtiest tea pot ever, but the audience was great and we had a lot
of fun.
8. Would you be able to compose for others artists? We
recently composed and recorded a song for a movie and off course it
whould be fun to do somthing together with another artist/band.
9. Any artist you would like to collaborate with? The list is long, the New York Dolls, Hanoi Rocks, Backyard Babies and many more. Elton John would be amazing to work with,
10. What is the best mood for composing? Izzy
-Sometimes it just hits me, then I usally go somewhere where quiet
where I can be alone,,, usally in the bathroom or up on the roof by the
jacuzzi.
11. Could you define each other in 3 words? If I would define the guys in the band with 3 words it would be Creative, crazy and lovely
12. Where do you see yourselves in 10 years? On a world tour with a big following and a lot of albums out.
13. Ready to rock Paris? Are you ready to be rocked?
14. What do you want to say to the readers of our magazine? Follow us on our new Blog where you can read about our lifes and see videos. http://snakeofedenblog.blogspot.com/ And off course thank you for your support, we love all of our fans, without you our work would be pointless.
