1- Tell me pls something about your band.
we're kill the drama
an alternative rock band from Pittsburgh PA USA. We're very loud, have
a singer that sounds like a girl but who sings with more power than
most males, we have the hardest hitting drummer in the USA, a slick new
bassist, and a crafty guitar player who writes killer riffs and has a
wall of sound for a guitar tone. And we're also the tallest band in
America until someone proves us otherwise:) We have no recording
contract but have fans around the world, particularly in Europe.
2- If I come to USA as a tourist, and ask you where I should go fist, where would you recommend me to go?
New York City and LA... might as well see the greatest two cities in the US
right off the bat.. alomst everything you need to get the full american
experience can be found in those citites.
3- What are you thinking about crazy fans? And you can are remembered some funny story with fans?
We have some very strong fans, but so far they haven't been too intrusive.
We interact with them a lot because its important for us as a band to
do so. We have gotten some desperate emails from fans who simply needed
someone to talk to who were at a bad time in their lives. We messaged
them back and that seemed to help them out. We think they made it out
of their own dark holes fine now:)
4 – Why did you call your band «kill the drama "? Is there any story?
We had a female singer for a few months before Bry and though we liked her
very much as a person, she was a handful to play with in a band. one
day I said we need to have "drama" in our name and days later we came
up with "kill the drama". it was perfect and though the band has
changed since then, the name still applies:)
5 - Please characterize yourself with three words. Afterwards, do the same about your band members.
steve - motivated detail-freak insomniac
Mars - chill balanced skilled
Bry - super fucking talented
J - level-headed under-rated band-backbone
6 – How many years does your band live?
almost 3
7 - They say that in Russia the most beautiful girl. Do you agree with that statement?
from
some of the friends we have i'd say that might be true. will have to
see in person but we have beautiful female friends from every country.
8 - Have you ever had an idea to conquer the world? Or just win all hearts with your music?
Bry
says first we'll try to conquor their hearts and if that doesnt work,
we'll conquor the world. though I think conquering the world will be
easier than conquering our hometown of Pittsburgh:)
9 – What are you listening? You’re interested in contemporary popular groups in the
west? If so, what? What can you say about a popular style these days
Visual Key and its agents, for example, Cinema Bizarre?
We like all kinds of music.. a lot of the western music are bands from earlier
days (90's early 2000's) since the music on the radio right now is far
from perfect in the US. Its important to match a visual to the band
since theres the internet and youtube and myspace. everything is so
visual these days for bands. But, like what launched the whole grunge
era in the 90's the bands have to be good or people will rebel against
bands. We're arena rock... thats how we dress... thats what we are...
and we think our music backs us up as a larger than life rock band so
we're not worried:)
10 – What would you like to wish our magazine?
That you have fun listening and reviewing our music and realize what the
international buzz is all about:) And much success in the new year to
your magazine as well. we hope to meet you in person on an
international tour soon:)
