Quest Pistols: “There are 25 hours on Mars!”
BM: Would like to have more than 24 hours in a day? Kostia: No. Everything is fine as it is. Nikita: On Mars there are 25 hours! Kostia: That which created God satisfies
BM:
What does the word “madness” mean for you? What behavioral
characteristics would associate with this word, or action of an
individual? Kostia: With time the word loses its meaning. Anton:
Read Ken Kessey’s book “Above Cuckoo’s Nest,” it’s written there.
Creates the atmosphere of insanity just like that. Some conclusions can
be made.
BM: Okay, if the meaning of “madness” is erased, what about the word “Tenderness”? Anton: Nikita will answer! Nikita: Tenderness? What could it mean? Well, tenderness is a feeling describable with one word: When it’s tender. Anton:
In the sound of that word there are already many qualities. You can
call a person by name and it will already sound tender. Kostia: If
someone is lacking words you can touch, for example a banana! Yes,
banana from the inside, only if it’s not really green! Nikita: Yeah, or you can poke an apple pie with a finger! Very tender and soft as well!
BM:
Imagine this situation: You wake up one morning with the sun shining
outside, and you get a Euphoric feeling you want to give girls flowers
and smile without a reason. All at once: We never have those! Nikita: In those days I just don’t want to kill everyone, that’s all. Anton:
I read somewhere that there are rules on how to play the blues; what
words should be there. In the first line you say: “I woke up in the
morning-then, everything was bad.” But if you already sang “everything
was good,” then in the third line you need to add “But my girl was so
ugly that I needed time to get over it,” for example. Well, those are
the rules.
BM: Sometime people in life get everything they
want, everything just falls into place. But more often than not it’s
hard to achieve things. What do you think would happen to people and
the world as a whole, if everything people wanted they would receive
without any hard work? Kostia: That never happens and never
will. Everything is different, all the people are different, and the
situations in lives are different. Some get it easy, others hard. Anton: People get as much as they can handle.
BM:
What brings you joy in life besides shows, concerts, fans, and full
auditoriums? Do you have something simple and joyous for you? Kostia: I get happy when my mom smiles.
BM: Who’s right; the theorist or the practical person? Anton: Depends on the type of theory and what’s practical. Nikita:
These are two inseparable definitions: You can’t be practical without a
theory, but you can’t make conclusion without practicality. Because of
that, you can’t say either is more important in any situation.
BM: But there are people that say, for example, that a person can’t properly sing if he can’t play some instrument… Nikita: Sometimes there are some that would say that’s not true. Kostia: There was Charles Darwin who said we all came from Monkeys. Anton:
Sometimes a person does not know how to sing or play an instrument, but
he can reach excellence in performing some song. Everything is possible
in this world and we shouldn’t talk about who is wrong. Nikita: It happens….a lot of things happen!
BM: And the last question: Can you give an advice on how to lead your life? Kostia: We don’t have the qualification to give such advice…
BM: Sometimes they say you need to live to the fullest so you get asked to repeat… Kostia: No you shouldn’t do that. No one there will ask to repeat. Nikita:
No one gets asked for anything there anyway. Anyway it seems to me that
if a person likes his life, then he should live like he wants to. And
no one can tell him what to do and what not to do.
