Official status costs a lot (about Cinema Bizarre)

Russian supports of the German rockers Cinema Bizarre are the most famous among the fans of the band. This popularity is the result of  a good team work

How did you achieve such a good team-work?

Satory ( Official Russian Strify Support): I think that the secret of Russian supports’ popularity is in purposefulness, hard work and  the creative approach  of the administrators of the supports towards what they do. We are successful because we treat our job seriously.  Besides we always try to help each other, and solve all the questions or problems together.

Jane(Official Russian Kiro Support ):
Well, there’s still no TOTAL unity, because we miss Shin’s support for it. Its admin just has OTHER principles of work. I wouldn’t like to dwell on it now – it’s all up to her. No one can make her work as the other four supports, which make the main part of the job and supply the fans of other countries with all the information (photos, videos, blogs, messages). We achieved this unity not so long ago, but I think for a long time. This work is a part of life for the four supports.

What made you set up the support? Did you expect that you would achieve such a success and would be able to meet the guys personally?

Satory ( Official Russian Strify Support) No, I didn’t expect that. When I got the official status, I realized what responsibility was on me from that moment. This very responsibility made me move further, work more and better and try to be in the know in order to pass the information to fans. I started up Strify’s support because I respect him and consider him a talented and non-ordinary personality with a deep inner world. I’m happy to work for the support of this member of the band.

Jane(Official Russian Kiro Support ): At the very beginning I didn’t expect any personal meetings, because nobody knew how popular the band would become here in Russia. But as time passed I realized that it was real and that made me work more. They’re very open, but probably it’s easy for me to judge, because I’ve been working for two years already and when I meet them it’s the same as meeting with good old friends. They’re a creative part and we are an informative one. Together we build up one whole. It really makes me happy that when we meet the results of the work show and they also treat us as one WHOLE. That’s SUPER!

Do you agree with the opinion that keeping a support is a waste of time?

Satory ( Official Russian Strify Support ): Every person has his own opinion. I’m not going to try and change someone’s mind. We try to help not only our favourite  musicians to promote their music, but also fans who want to get as many information as possible. Every day I receive dozens of letters where people thank me for a lot of new information at my support. How can I consider the work for which people thank me a waste of time?

Jane(Official Russian Kiro Support ): If someone creates a support in order to meet his FAVOURITE musician some day and then, having achieved his goal,  forget about it and switch on something else, it’s a waste of OTHER fans time. I don’t see the point in creating a support and considering it a waste of time. I don’t think that many think like that. If someone likes to believe in rumours, it’s up to THEM. We work officially, get information from the band and it’s our point in life – the point of helping them. Is it a waste of time? I’ve got the feedback for two years already. I respect Kiro’s attitude towards my support. And I don’t really care about the opinion of shallow fans.

What if the band breaks up some day. What will be your further actions – will you keep on working for the support?

Satory ( Official Russian Strify Support ):  Of course I will carry it on! I’ll keep on informing fans about Strify’s work.

Jane(Official Russian Kiro Support ): It’s a strange question. Kiro will always remain for me the friend he is now. Even if something extraordinary happens and the band breaks up, we’ll start something cool in Berlin or here in Russia.

A lot has changed in the band for the past year: I mean Luminor’s leaving the band. How did you react to this news?

 Satory ( Official Russian Strify Support ): It was  very sad news for me. When he left the band, one stage in the band’s history stopped and the other one began. I hope Luminor will be able to make a successful solo career as he’s very talented and spiritual person. I’m sure he’ll be alright.

Jane(Official Russian Kiro Support ):  It was a forced step. Someone who has gone through clinical death and couldn’t keep on touring on such a high level can’t be a part of such a famous band. The schedule didn’t allow a man with weak health play in the band further. There were two options only: either a famous band, or just a band always getting adjust to their keyboard player. I’m VERY grateful to a wonderful man named Romeo, who SAVED the tour last year when Luminor had to stay at the hospital for a long time. That’s a pity that some people don’t value this help. I’ll always be at Romeo’s side and we’ll always be thankful to each other for the support. This wouldn’t have happened if Luminor had thought about his health and the future of the band he was in. It’s silly to blame Cinema Bizarre members and Romeo. I wrote at the pages of a famous Russian magazine WHAT Romeo had to sacrifice for his friends from Cinema Bizarre. He deserves only respect and recognition on behalf of the band’s fans.

Let’s speak about the relations between you. What are they like?

Satory ( Official Russian Strify Support ): Just wonderful!  I can always rely on the people I work with. We’re a team. I think it’s absolutely impossible to work without helping each other. We always try to help each other in exchanging of the information and solving different problems. We’ve got an amazing team! I’m happy to work with these people. But in particular I’d like to thank Jane – the admin of Kiro’s official support. She’s become a real friend to me, who supported me during  difficult times and made me believe in myself. I; grateful to her for that.

Jane(Official Russian Kiro Support ):
I’ve dreamt about such relations for the whole year. It’s a HUGE help to each other. I’ve got an opportunity to meet with the two supports quite often – with Yu’s and Romeo’s supports. But when I met Strify’s support admin from Ekaterinburg for the first time, I realized how I missed this particular person and I still miss her  :)  I’m happy we’re one team, but that’s a pity we live so far away from each other, though Internet gives us an opportunity to talk since morning till night. She’s the dearest person to me now.

On June 5th the second gig of the band took place in Moscow. Did the day come up to your expectations?

Satory ( Official Russian Strify Support ): I liked the concert a lot! It was cool and unexpected to hear the new songs from the guys. The gig has fully come up to my expectations. It was a wonderful evening. Even though the impression was spoilt by organization and behaviour of some fans, everything was amazing.

Jane(Official Russian Kiro Support ): Of course!  The opportunity to spend the whole day with the band, see with my own eyes what an interview, a soundcheck and a concert are! It was a wonderful present . I hope it was not for the last time. Speaking about the gig itself, there were moments that really made me angry: the jam near the stage that the boys were afraid to come up close to the edge and silly shiny sticks, which flew in the guys and on which they could easily slip and fall down. It was FEARFUL to watch and I don’t think it’s left some positive impressions. I hope that in the future this silliness won’t happen and the fans will think with their heads but not with the part on which normal people usually sit. Respect your idols if you consider them your idols, and if not – just don’t go at their gigs.
But to those who respects the band, I’ll say the phrase we all know STAY BIZARRE.

Bizarre Music magazine thanks Nadya (Official Russian  Strify Support) and Jane (Official Russian  Kiro Support) for the interview.
