1. What were your beginnings in the world of music? What was your onset of the music scene? I
started out in metal bands when I was a teenager, on guitar and vocals.
I started producing demo's for those bands on my parent's computer and
playing gigs near where I lived. My first bands were really heavy, very
raw extreme metal. It all changed when I got my first keyboard. From
then onwards I wanted to mix the sound of the orchestra and guitars. I
found it hard to find a live keyboard player, so I started taking an
electronic approach to music. When I was 20 I founded an industrial
style band, influenced by Rammstein and Deathstars. Shortly before that
broke up I discovered J-Rock and Visual Kei and out of that I created
Gargoyle in Virtue.
2. What were your beginnings in the world of music? What was your onset of the music scene? Not always, It started being my ambition probably in my late teens.
3. Your songs are beautiful and emotional... why did you chose this style of music? Who gave you motivation to play? Thankyou
:-). I chose the influences that I find most powerful and expressive
and combined them. I like adding metal guitar parts because you cant
get that raw energy and attitude from anything else. I also like to use
orchestral and baroque instruments- strings, organs, harpsichords
because they evoke a certain era in time and give the music a gothic
and romantic feel. Bands such as Malice Mizer, Versailles, Moi Dix
Mois, Phantasmagoria gave me the motivation to express myself through
the Visual Kei style.
4. Do you like other styles of music? Yes I like a wide range of music- Classical, Soft Rock, Industrial, Metal, Electronic
5.Did you do a concert in the Europe? If not... Would you like to play in Europe? I
havnt played in Europe yet, Im looking for a label or company who will
help me with the tour arrangements so I can come visit- Its one of my
main ambitions!
6. Would you like have a concert in Czech Republic in the future?Definatly- It will happen.
7. When you release your album? My
next release is going to be a maxi single called "Fleur De Lys". There
will be a video to go with it too! You are the first people to know
about this, its a bit of a secret but I thought Id let you in on it :-)
It will be ready in a couple of months time.
I also have an
album out at the moment called "The First Chapter"! Ive released this
myself online without a label so Im looking for a distributor so more
people in Europe can get hold of a copy more easily. In the mean time
while im sorting that out, Im recording the Fleur De Lys maxi single,
which I plan to make available on CD and download worldwide.
8. What is most importat for you? Most
important...the fans.. my aim is to reach people with my music and to
entertain the fans, I set high standards for myself as a musician too,
anyone will tell you im a perfectionist. Family and close friends are
also important to me.
9. What is your favourite song? haha
thats a really hard question because I like so many songs by so many
different artists. My favourite song that Ive made is currently "Fleur
De Lys", I think its my most symphonic song so far. Im listening to a
lot of Deathstars at the moment though, their new album is excellent.
10. Do you have a message for your fans? message
for the fans- thankyou for your continued support and enthusiam for
Gargoyle in Virtue, I'm hoping to make many new friends and look
forward to hearing more of your thoughts. Watch out for the new songs
