Layla Milou: I try to be a ROCKSTAR ;-)

1)
You have finally released a new video for «Funfair». How long have you
been shooting it? If I’m not mistaken, you have shot it at the same
place as Smooth Operator. Is it so? Yes, we released the new
video for my first official single “Funfair”. We shot the video in 3
days. At the first day, we shot the Band parts, at the second day, the
dancer parts and at the last day we shot the single shoots. I really
love it.
Oh no, the video wasn’t shot at the same place as
“smooth operator” but we wanted to have a similar style. So, it was
another complex of halls, the hall we used for “smooth operator” was
demolished last year, a day after our shooting day.
2) In
the magazine Inhard we have read that you write all the songs yourself.
Is it really so? Does the songwriting process depend on your mood? Yes,
that’s right, I write the songs by myself and by now I also write songs
for other musicians. It is fun and I love this work. Of course, songwriting mostly depends a little bit on the mood.
3)
Eurovision song contest have taken place recently. Did you have any
particular favourite? Would like to single out some particular
performances? What do you thing about the winner from Norway? No,
I don’t have a particular favourite… I liked them all and the winner
from Norway was really good and he is something like the darling of all
mothers-in-law :) I guess he and his song is cool and he refreshed the
“Eurovision song contest”. But it’s a pity that Germany is under the last places again... We make another try next year.
4) Would you like to take part in Eurovision next year? The contest aims at young artists. Who knows. The Contest has a different reputation here in Germany as in Russia.
5)
You go online and talk to people in the Internet very often for a
musician. Is there a person who you especially like to talk to? Of
course I write very often with my fans and media partners, I enjoy
this. For me it’s really important to have a great contact to them. P.S.: I like my Russia connection :)
6)
Your new supports appear almost every day. Do you follow the life of
your supports? Can you single out the most active one? What do you feel
when in your friend requests you see a page dedicated to you? I
think the Russia and German support pages are the most active ones
right now, that means not, that the other ones are not great; I love
them all, of course. I try to follow them daily and to stay in contact
with them as often as I can.
It’s a wonderful feeling, if somebody will add me with a dedicated page, it makes me always a little bit proud.
7) This question was asked by the users of the band we’re going to mention. Would you like to record a song with Cinema Bizarre? For me that would be fantastic and an honour. If they ever will ask, I will say YES :)
8)
How did you study at school? Have you got any good or bad memories from
those times? Are there any school stories which you still remember? My school time was really okay. I think, I was an average pupil but at all I enjoyed my school time.
9) What concerts of famous musicians you have already been to and which you would like to attend? I
have visits the concerts of “Bowling for Soup”, “Avril Lavigne”, “Jonas
Brothers” and Killerpilze. The shows were really fantastic and I have
tikets for Green Day for the Show in October.
10) Tell more about other band members. What are their names? How old are they? What characters have they got? My
band is completed now. Roman and Thomas will play the guitars, Marc the
drums and Andy is our bass player. The guys are so excitied and do a
bombastic show, it’s so amazing. We try to organize a foto session in
the next time to present them on my homepage and we will release a
small Live-Video this year as well.
11) Have you had any performances already? My
complete performance for the shows is ready now and it ROCKS!! :) I
have a few coregraphical dance performances and a full time band
performance, a few gimmicks and surprises.
12 ) Role games,
where users play the parts of famous people, are very popular at the
forums now. What do you think about them and how would you react if
someone played you in such a game? You mean games like simple life or chatrooms like IMVU?
Of
course, I know this games and think they are okay, but I don’t play
them for myself. I prefer other internet communities like ICQ or
Myspace :) If someone would play my charakter in such a game, I would wish him good luck .
13) Have you ever thought about another profession if something goes wrong with the career of a singer? You
mean a plan b? Yes, of course I have one! I will go studying if
something went wrong, but right now I try to be a ROCKSTAR ;-)
14) What do your parents think about your music? Do they support you? For my family it’s still unbelievable and they are really proud of me. They like my music and support me every day.
