Baby Fiasco: "Haters, beware!"

1)      Hey guys! Tell us, what’s new? What have you been up to lately?
First we'd like say thank you for showing interest in Baby Fiasco.  To answer you question, the band                      has been spending the last few months finishing new material to coincide with the new music video.  These are due to release along with a new look for 2010 in early February.
2)      What’s the story behind the name of your band?
Right, the band name question.  We’ve had many conversations where the topic was of dysfunctional relationships.  Its something that everyone goes through and can relate to directly.  So, the word  fiasco came to mind and so did the baby preceding it, flowing nicely together.
3)      Las Vegas sounds just like a very exciting place to settle down. Does it have any sort of influence at your style of music?
Living in Vegas has enabled us to broaden our musical styles as Las Vegas is a very transient city with many global visitors, making it feel unlike any American city.
4)      What is the best way to describe your sound? What are your main sources of inspiration?
We’ve always liked rock music while our writing interest revolve around a more synth pop style.   Both would be the descriptive and inspirational keys  to our music.  We always keep an open mind though when it comes to the creative process,  never restricting what can go into our music
5)      You’ve got two singles out. When can we expect your full length album?
Early February.
6)      Who did the artwork for your singles? Is there any connection between the artwork and the music on the CD?
We designed and created the artwork for both singles.  And yes, the artwork is designed to reflect the themes of each single.
7)      You worked with James Bonzai Caruso – the three time Grammy winning producer and the rap legend Coolio. What was it like?
 Both experiences were great, you can learn a great deal from people that have been in the industry for such a long time.  We had the best experience with Bonzai, given his long track record in the industry we learned a lot about what to do and what not do.
8)      How do you picture Baby Fiasco in ten years?
If in ten years Baby Fiasco is still together writing, playing, and making music videos that people want hear and see, we will have achieved greatness.
9)      What are your plans for the nearest future?
Once the new material is finished and released, we plan to tour in support of the album.
10)     Christmas and New Year are coming soon. Any special plans for the holidays?
We’re working right through the holidays to finish projects for the new year.
