Our readers know the guys of the Japanese rock band D'ERLANGER. The
singer of the band Kyo told us about the creative year of D'ERLANGER.
Bizarre Music: Regarding your Tour12diable at the start of the year, how was the tour like performing on Saturday/Sunday only for 2 shows in same place? k) Including all the travel days it was a long term tour , which was good as we were able to properly experience each place we visited.
Bizarre Music: Which show particularly stands out in your memory. k)Kyoto as our sanctuary
Bizarre Music: Give us your thought on the events you held at RockMayKan, and JCB Hall. k)It was an event where we were surrounded by our elders and they gave us a great deal of inspiration.
Bizarre Music: Regarding the following Tour 8ange, what do you recall about the Kanto Region 8 show tour? k)My recollection is that we were stoically performing shows on a continual basis.
Bizarre Music: Regarding the Daikanyama Fanclub Live, up till now the fanclub event has only been held on Christmas, how was the live? k)It was a full house and we had a lot of fanclub members who could not come, so I felt that maybe we should have played at a bigger venue. We performed the show as the tour final, and we played just like we always do.
Bizarre Music: What did you have the hardest time with when recording your new album k)English Lyrics
Bizarre Music: Did anything change in the recording compared to past album recording sessions? k)Nothin in particular
Bizarre Music: With regards to Studio-Coast event(D'ERLANGER presents ABSTINENCE'S DOOR #005,#006), held over two days for the first time with a very varied cast. Which band stands out in your memory. k)PIA
Bizarre Music: What are your thoughts on the two day event? k)This time we had bands with a totally different musical vibe compared to the past which made it feel all the more like a festival.
Bizarre Music: With regards to Taiwan Door(D'ERLANGER presents ABSTINENCE'S DOOR #007), following last year this is your second concert in Taiwan, how was it compared to last time? k)It was our second time to Taiwan so honestly we approached in with a lot of ease. The audience was event more enthusiastic than last year and they allowed us not feel that we were playing in a foreign country.
Bizarre Music: What are your thoughts on the bands that performed with you? k)It felt like a three-way between Japan, Korea and Taiwan which gave us positive intensity and was very enjoyable.
Bizarre Music: What are you planning for 2011? k)We will be performing in Moscow. I am very excited to be playing there for the first time.

Christmas through the eyes of artists:
What are Christmas tradition in your country and which you are keep up?
Dirty Passion: We have the regular Christian Christmas traditions I guess. I'm not very good at that but I try to keep Christmas spirit as much as possible.
Layla Milou: Hey everybody! In Germany, preparations for Christmas begin before December falls. But the real celebration starts from 6th December, St. Nicholas Day, known here as "Nikolaustag". On the night of 5th December (St. Nicholas Eve) children put their shoe or boot outside the door, a tradition practiced in many other European countries. According to a German legend, the spirit of St. Nicholas, the patron saint of children, goes from house to house on this night carrying a book of sins in which all the actions of the year of all children are written. It is said that St. Nicholas fills the shoes of all good kids with delicious treats and places twigs in the shoes of all naughty children. During Advent, advent wreaths are placed on a table and four red candles are placed in the center of it. One of these candles is lit on each Sunday preceding Christmas and the last one is lighted on Christmas Eve. Advent calendars, containing pictures beneath each window, are used by kids to count the days until Christmas. The Christmas tree is an integral part of German Christmas celebrations. It should be kept in mind that the Christmas tree actually originated in Germany. A unique aspect of the German Christmas decorations is that, kids can not take part in the beautification of the Christmas tree. It is believed that the tree has some mysterious spell for all young eyes that rest on it before Christmas Eve. Hence, the Christmas tree is decorated on Christmas Eve, prior to the evening feast. The father usually keeps the children in a separate room while the mother brings out the Christmas tree from a hidden place and decorates it with apples, candy, nuts, cookies, cars, trains, angels, tinsel, family treasures and candles or lights. The gifts are kept under the tree. Nearby, beautiful plates are laid for each family member and filled with fruits, nuts, marzipan, chocolate& nbsp;a nd biscuits. The decorations finished, a bell is rung as a signal for the children to enter the room. The Christmas story is usually read during this time and carols are sung. Often, sparklers are lit and gifts opened too. The Christmas Eve dinner menu t raditionally comprises of delicious dishes such as suckling pig, white sausage, macaroni salad and many regional dishes. Another dinner is sausages with potato salad (called "Würstchen mit Kartoffelsalat"). The Christmas Eve is popularly called here as "Dickbauch" (meaning "fat stomach") because of the myth that those who do not eat well on Christmas Eve will be haunted by demons during the night. So everyone tries to stuff their belly to the fullest on this day. The feasting continues on Christmas Day with a banquet being held on this day. Traditional Christmas dishes consist of plump roast goose, "Christstollen" (long bread loaves stuffed with nuts, raisins, citron and dried fruit), "Le bkuchen" (spice bars), marzipan, and "Dresden Stollen" ( a moist, heavy bread filled with fruit). From the beginning of Advent, booths and stalls are set up on the market-places in all cities where you can buy everything you need for Christmas: decorations for the tree and candles, crib figures and gingerbread (which is mainly baked and consumed at Christmas), Christmas trees, presents for Christmas Eve, sweets and mulled wine (called: "Glühwein"). Walking through such a market really is an exceptional experience. Children enjoy this most of all. The smell of fir resin and roasted almonds intermingle. Then there are all the lights from the stalls and the little stoves where sausages are fried and chestnuts roasted. Songs and the sounds of music fill the air. The most famous Christkindlesmarkt takes place in Nuremberg and attracts lots of visitors every year. So, I hope that I could tell you some information.
Before wishing you a Happy New Yeat the musicians give their advice on what you shouldn't do.
Sirocco:
Trust us, in New Year you shouldn't do one thing: celebrate New Year
with each city. You shouldn't celebrate New Year before the clock strike
12. Yes, yes, yes. You shouldn't celebrate it without the special mood.
Grandees:
What shouldn't you do on New Year? Don't drink little. What else? Be sad
and celebrate alone. You should invite Grandees for sure. We'll make
any holiday better. You shouldn't also make love in New Year because
after that you'll fall asleep and won't be able to celebrate it.
And, of course, there is no New Year celebration without greetings from the musicians. Von Shtefanits: Dear Bizarre Music's readers, in the coming 2011, savages and romantics from the "Von Shtefanits" group wish you unrestrained fun, which rock-n-roll gives us, harmony, which is our world full of and love, which gives us strength to overcome any difficulties! Smile more often!
Khaki: First of all, we wish you to celebrate the New Year cheerfully, drunk under the Tree, go somewhere to the cottage or in warm countries, anywhere. The main thing - it must be fun and teasing. Well, and with the Khaki's music.
And at the end of the issue, we decided to hold an experiment. The
musicians were given the task to continue the tale. The results of the
experiment, you
can see below. Bizarre Music: There once was a young man who played in a popular group, the name of
which we can not say. On New Year he went to the forest for the tree,
but there
he saw ...
Kira (DNR): and saw there the best gift that he can give to the friends and fans…the first album of his band… to give to his Russian friends
Tally Ho!: the forest of birch and there never were any fir trees ... Patriotism overdrove him, so he decided to decorate the birch tree, anyway there were no other options. So let us drink to ability to find a way out of any situation, even out of the most desperate. Even if you are asked to complete the tale and you do not have enough fantasy, you'd manage to turn the story into a toast, and finish all with the grandiose drinking party. .. =). P.S: A young man from some unknown famouse band still decked birch, and spent the New Year all creativly... However tale was not about him at all = P
