Ensoph: "I was so young...my soul was still alive!"
1. Hello, Nico! Tell us about your band Ensoph. Ensoph were born in 1997 in Venice (Italy) in the first EP, the sound was dark, doom, goth, folk metal, while the subsequent four albums we moved towards sound industrial, goth and extreme metal. Our lyrics deal with various topics: esotericism, mysticism, philosophy, but also inspires us to great poets and writers of the 800 and 900.
2. What can we do while listening to your music? Certainly open the mind, seek to capture "the words into the words" ... there is not only white and black, but an universe of colors and shades to paint the infinite... the time of certainties is finished!
3. And what kind of music is interesting for you as for the listener? I love so many styles and musical genres, but I think that are more important individual artists or bands that not genres ... Definitely Italian bands like the goblin or devil doll ... but also Sopor Aeternus, NIN, Depeche Mode, Diamanda Galas, Dead Can Dance, the list really too long! 4. With what your musical career has begun ? Oh my "career music began many years ago in 1991 ... at that time was playing guitar in a band that did covers of Metallica, Slayer and Megadeth ... I miss those days...I was so young...my soul was still alive!!! 5. With what musicians did you appear on one stage? Ensoph have had the good fortune and honor to share the stage with many great bands: KATATONIA, WEDNESDAY 13, CINEMA STRANGE, DEATH STARS, ARCTURUS, KIRLIAN CAMERA, SPIRITUAL FRONT, THEATRE OF TRAGEDY, TRAIL OF TEARS, 1349, RED HARVEST, GOTHMINISTER, DEATH SS, NOVEMBRE, THEATRES DES VAMPIRES, EPHEL DUATH, DOPE STARS, VISION DIVINE, KILLING MIRANDA, LACRIMAS FROFUNDERE, OPERA IX, MORTUARY DRAPE, CRIPPLE BASTARDS, CENTINEX, HANDFUL OF HATE...

I have always loved poetry, I have always written ... but I never thought to publish my work, but after a really dark period of deep depression, I have gathered my poems in a book as a testimony of my life, a will. The book is called "Splinters of glass-restless thoughts" you can check it here: http://www.nicolafavaretto.beepworld.it I am very proud of this work ... is sick, dark, hopeless ... a journey to hell...

Lovecraft Arthur Rimbaud, Pasolini, Hermann Hesse, Oscar Wilde, William Shakespeare, De Sade, Camus, Charles Bukowski... 8. You have piercings and many tattoos on your body. What does they mean: carry some important hidden sense for you, or just for beauty? honestly I don't know how many piercings I have ... I have 2 tattoos on my chest, one on my back and almost everywhere on the arms... piercings are a mere embellishment, I find them sexy ... but the tattoos are esoteric symbols ... and all have a deep meaning for me. 9. When have you made the first tattoo? my first tattoo? I was only fifteen! a beautiful memory! 10. What are your future plans? oh ...I have so many things in my mind ... I'm working on a new music project, soon we will enter the studio, I can not anticipate anything right now, but fans of Ensoph will not be disappointed!
