InSex: "It's only rock'n'roll but we like it!"
 As we know, the line-up of your band has recently changed. What was the reason for it?
MantiS: Well easy to say: Alex couldn’t feed his metal daemon inside of him with InSex, and actually play drums with the Thor's Hammer is not that cheap for our finances!
MistSavage? Good bassplayer, great friend and everything… but fuck, we couldn’t take him and his coffin every time we had to move during the morning light!!!
Vigos: yes, we have changed the drummer and the bass player, because they are very involved in other projects and they could not adequately follow the InSex .
Currently with Trevor and Vidua we are complete!
Gerolamo: A cat eat them. It happens to insects especially in the dark of the night. Luckily there are many insects on earth and the band can go on even when there are some little problems, like having been eaten by a feline or a bird of prey. Sometimes I thought about changing the song title "pray me" in "prey me".
The new members of your band: who are they?
MantiS: Vidua was my drummer some years ago, we shared a couple of great shows together but I don’t have memories and he does, so… useful person for me!
Trevor is a guy who asked in the first time to play the guitar than I said we got Vigos, next when Savage left the band, he called me to ask to play bass… so I said, before he ask me to sing or worse be a groupie I should take him. And so did I.
Vigos: They are both musicians with considerable experience and they are really willing to invest this experience in InSex
Gerolamo: Trevor Duncan was an english composer, particularly noted for his light music compositions...He was born in 1924 and disappeared in 2005 at the age of 81. Now is alive again, darker hair and Calabria's accent but..a great musical taste, as in his best years.
And Vidua...I met Vidua 1 year ago at a dark party, he gave me a cd of the band in which he was playing and told me: "this is a present for you, we don't know but I'd like so much to work with you" And that day came.
How is it - to feel you as a part of INSEX? (Is it comfortable for you to work in that style?)
Trevor: Ohhhh...it’s like an everlasting merry-go-round hahaha…The guys are very nice, there's a very band approach ‘cos everyone has duties and everybody can say what they really think, confronting each other and having respect for what others say, this means democracy.
There’s a beautiful synergy between us made of hard work and at the same time fun and personal satisfaction too. Each of us plays a character, and we really feel what we are playing. I really like to work with InSex and to be a part of, definitely.
Vidua: For me is a great new experience, very creative. I met very good musicians and human beings, approaching a way of playing quite different from which I'm used to.
What’s the main idea of the video "Pray me”? Who was the initiator of this idea?
MantiS: The main idea of video…. Mhhh… fuck, I miss Nishaaaaa!!!!!!!!
Vigos: The idea of the video was created by the mind of Devid from New era project and later developed by the whole band.
I think that the idea is to make the passion and the strong sense in which the song was written, through the images and acting.
Gerolamo: Mr. Devid !!!… but Mantis is the fashion maker of the band.
Tell us about the process of the video shooting. Were there any funny cases?
MantiS: Guys, trust me, I tried to make serious stuff out of there for the videoclip but everything turned on a BIG funny case!! I mean, did you see the backstage clip????
Vigos: The video was shot in two days, the first day we shot together, the second day only Mantis and the actress.
We had a fantastic and funny things and we have used them into the backstage video.
Gerolamo: I like a lot the moment of make-up. Funny case during Pray Me shooting? I get suddenly hungry, so I went out with the girl that made our make-up to find something to eat for me and the band, once arrived in this little supermarket of this little city I'll never forget the looks of the people that began to ask themselves where the fuck I was going out..dressed in that way.. Coming back, I see the band playing at the train all together before and jump one on the other in a couch after while the filmmaker was trying to put some order: very interesting moment...
Yes, when there is harmony between band funny things happen, sure ! Shooting the video? We played and some people were flying around us, together with a strange technological animal with one big eye. The making of a video like that is not more interesting than a dinner all together, but this it depends from the kind of video.
 When will see your new single and new video?
MantiS: Just let me say we will have a very hard summer…
What are you working at today and tell us, please, about your future creative plans?
Band: We are finishing production and arrangement of the album. Honestly and without false modesty we think it's a masterpiece. What we feel listening to these tracks is something really incredible. Someone of us composed some tracks of the album many years ago and we really want to share this extraordinary experience with you people as soon as possible.
Criticism for you is: an incentive to work or incitement to aggression?
MantiS: Actually I’m not making a surgery or house building… I do an art that suits on me and the band. Criticism, I just don’t take it, but I like to listen for advices!
Vigos: If the criticism will be constructive about the music , of course will be an incentive to make things better!
Trevor: both, we like to consider it as a sincere and honest way to learn the things that perhaps you didn't notice yet, it should be used for this, but you know, there are some cases where if you chose the wrong way to do it and casually meet Trevor drunk in a club, everything could turn into aggression hahahahah!
Vidua: Definitely an incentive to improve myself
Gerolamo: It depends. If a musician criticizes me.. I don't wanna take suggestions, unless I'm on a private lesson or he/she is someone that I personally choose with the goal of making my work better. There is too much envy, and the "speaking about" is always the choice of the people that cannot express themselves otherwise. But if a person, and more, a fan, criticizes me, I take the critic with another mood: I really pay attention and i take any word as gold !
Are you planning a tour this year? Will we see you at Russian stages?
MantiS: Yeah but just two days ago I recived a weird call from our agent, he was pissed off, screaming about Lady Gaga, it’s impossible, are you drunk, Gero is dead… I really missed the point but I’ll call him back later!
Gerolamo: I planned a world tour of a year in every capital of the world, I prepared it with so much attention an focusing on all organization details but the agencies told me that my plan could be impossible also for Lady Gaga. Now we are looking for a compromise. Russia? Oh I love it, and wanna be there as soon as possible. Sure our interest for the Russian scene is big! Once we get necessary info about...sure you'll be the first to know!
Lately you participated in the TV-show, what did you feel under the gun of the cameras?

MantiS: there were too many half naked girls during the live show to focus my feelings about the cameras!
Vigos: It 's always a good feeling!

Gerolamo: Licking a microphone on live TV after submitting one minute and half of baroque vocal counterpoint in a football program is something really funny, yes!
Vidua: my feelings are always strong behind my drumkit with or without cameras.
On the scene of this TV-show your Russian fan-club also participated, which was the reason of excitement of your fans from all over the world. Nice move! Are you planning to continue to work with your fans in this way (means your work directly with fans)?
MantiS: Every band says "we are very close to the fans”. I say, Facebook is not what I mean to "be close”. I really thanks our Russian FC, Maria and Elena for the nice time spent together. And yes, we will continue to do it!
Gerolamo: Around Insex world there are wonderful people and the fans that I know personally are simply amazing. The fact the Russian fan club participated in our liveTv show is so lovely. Me, Maria, Elena and Mantis had a lot of fun together.
