KoRn - "KoRn III: Remember Who You Are" [CD] 2010
Band: KoRn Genre: Rock/Metal CD: "Korn III: Remember Who You Are” Release date: 2010 Label: Roadrunner Records Bizarre Music Summary: Everything new is well forgotten old. And KoRn know it.
KoRn have been working in the musical industry for many years. Having recorded several platinum albums and toured with concerts the whole world, on the ninth disk "Korn III: Remember Who You Are” they have decided to return to basics - to the early sound of the group. And haven't lost … Already from the name "Korn III: Remember Who You Are” it becomes clear that the musicians have decided to remind listeners what they were, when they just started musical career. KoRn not only resorted to the old methods of recording, but have also invited the producer of the first two albums "KoRn" and "Life Is Peachy" Ross Robinson to work at "KoRn III". The recording took place in a small room of a huge studio where the group gathered and arranged jam-sessions: the usage of electronic devices in recording on this album was minimized. After all the music was ready, the frontman of KoRn Jonathan Davis wrote the lyrics. And at the end of the recording the musicians signed the deal with Roadrunner Records via which the CD was released. "Korn III” has turned out deafeningly powerful and crazy. In the naturalness of the album lies its main weapon: hard rock in the live performance is more dangerous than hard rock polished by computers. The energy and the sound of the young KoRn mixes with maturity and experience, which musicians got over the years in show business – and this combination makes "Korn III” murderously aggressive and convincingly sharp. This disk is the impressive answer to ill-wishers who have hastened to write KoRn off. Everything new is well forgotten old, and KoRn have once again confirmed this truth. They have come back and they are better than before.
